- Why You Need It.
Our first limited edition color is here!
It’s still the Austin, with all the same great ergonomics but now in a lighter, calmer color. Quantities are limited.
How does it work?
Well, the seat is tilted at a 120° angle (instead of the usual flat 90° you’re probs used to) which pushes your hips forward. This allows you to effortlessly maintain an upright seated posture and keep your core engaged, and takes a huge amount of pressure off your lower back.
It’s a chair you can get creative with.
The separate knee cushions give you the freedom to switch up your leg positions. The ability to rock keeps your core continually engaged and keeps your wiggles away.
Are you short on space?
No worries, the Austin can easily be tucked under any table or desk while it’s not in use. The black birchwood frame and soft linen cushions are the perfect mix of form and function.
The Austin is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee if it ends up not being absolutely perfect. All of our products are covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty in case anything ever goes wrong!

How come there’s no backrest?
Because you don’t need one! The tilted angle of the seat (120° as opposed to 90°) tilts your hips forward which works like a domino effect up your spine. It helps to place you in a natural S shape posture. This also automatically engages your core which takes a ton of pressure off your lower back and also prevents slouching.
This is impossible in a 90° seat which is why we need a backrest to stay comfortable in a regular chair.
Is there a right way to sit in the chair?
There is a traditional way to sit in a kneeling chair— which is… kneeling on it… but it’s such a dynamic chair that you can constantly be switching up your positions. We love to say “The Next Posture Is The Best Posture”, so we encourage you to move around and get comfortable!
Are there benefits to rocking?
Heck yes! Not only does the rocking help keep you focused and prevent fidgeting, it also helps you keep your core engaged and keeps you aware of your posture, so if you do start to slouch, you can catch it quick!
Can I use it full-time?
Oh baby, yes you can! It usually takes about 2 weeks for your body to fully adapt to this style of sitting. We do recommend keeping your old chair nearby at first and using the kneeling chair in short increments, but after that, you’re good to go! Use it all day, every day, forever!
