As Logistics Operator, your focus will include but not be limited to ordering, receiving, and distribution operations. This position oversees the efficient ordering, receipt and shipping from overseas to the United States. As well as domestically overseeing storage, pick, and shipments of a wide variety of products. A successful Logistics Operator is a self-starter who is detail-focused and excels at communication.  The role requires an individual with a positive can-do attitude, top-notch negotiation skills, and simply does not take no for an answer. 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with the CEO and our suppliers in China
  • Monitor all shipments and ensure things are on track, documents are filed, i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed for accuracy
  • Create and send purchase orders to factories
  • Weekly followup with factories to ensure timely delivery
  • Coordinate and arrange inspections of products and complete a summary as needed
  • Organizes shipping labels for products
  • Arranges shipments with our freight forwarder (Flexport)
  • Arranges complete documentation for shipments
  • Responsible for timely re-orders and product updates with suppliers
  • Responsible for the logistical billing process
  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations working directly with Amazon or our 3PL
  • Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner

Here’s What We Expect You to Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering
  • 2+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations
  • 1+ year of remote work experience
  • Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
  • Negotiation skills that can turn a no into a yes
  • Positive attitude 
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong familiarity with the common remote company based software including but not limited to communication and project management software tools
  • Organizational skills that could give Marie Kondo a run for her money
  • Scrappy, resourceful and execution focused

Schedule and Benefits:

  • Full-Time 40 hours per week
  • Remote Position
  • North American Time Zone required
